EVE Online | Faction Warfare News : Evati 3/2 YC124 Part 4

The other two frigates, both Incursus-class frigates, had begun to move in on the Succubus at way too low a speed, around 900m/s. At least they were together, but they, too, were seperated from the skirmishing Firetail and Succubus. The maddening thought occurred to Kleo that if this Succubus could down the Firetail alone, it could likely destroy both Incursuses before the Rifter could close the 130+ kilometers to intervene.

Once the allied vessels had engaged the Succubus uniformly, Capt. Patroklus re-engaged the 5MN microwarpdrive, diving right back into the fray despite the completely destroyed armor hanging from the Rifter hull. The Succubus countered with speed, escaping the Firetail and breaking free from the enemy assault, firing its main thrusters in a prolonged burn back toward the Minmatar outpost.

And then, just like that, the allied fleet fled from the outpost, leaving Kleo to face the Succubus alone. Again.

With no armor left and a stripped down structure with little reinforcement, Kleo heeded the cries of the crew and engaged the Republic Frigates warp drive. They’d never seen a single vessel cause such mayhem in the warzone against so many veteran crewed ships. They were afraid; not of the enemy, but of their vessel. There are no fistfights in EVE Online; the Minmatar crew was at a disadvantage against the soft-bellied Amarrians.

The enemy ship was too much for the front line frigates deployed in Evati. As the Amarrian grip tightened across Aldodan, some residents began to wonder if there would be another change of power of a warzone strategic point. The Minmatar showed vigor and coordination in the Liberation Of Kamela, but may have suffered too many casualties to hold the line or push against enemy strongholds.
